16 May 2024 • by Gabrielle Lazaridis

METSTRADE, the world's largest trade exhibition for marine equipment, materials and systems, has announced the establishment of the Superyacht Content Board ahead of its 2024 edition.

According to the Group, the Board aims to "foster stronger ties" with key superyacht associations in order to tailor each show's agenda to the evolving needs and interests of the industry.

Comprised of leading trade associations in superyacht production, brokerage, refit and operations, the Superyacht Content Board will convene biannually in April/May and November during METSTRADE. On 7 May, the Board gathered for its inaugural meeting in Amsterdam with a focus on the most recent industry advancements. Among its founding members are the International Council of Marine Industry Associations, International Yacht Brokers Association, MYBA The Yachting Association and Superyacht Builders Association.

"The establishment of the Superyacht Content Board underscores the exceptional relationship between METSTRADE and the superyacht industry," said METSTRADE director Niels Klarenbeek. "We are delighted by the overwhelming support from the industry's most influential associations. METSTRADE is renowned for its 'for the industry, by the industry' ethos. I am confident that the Superyacht Content Board will enhance our Superyacht Pavilion, its educational components, and fringe events."

METSTRADE will return from 19-21 November 2024 at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam.
