I hear that the indefatigable Kevin Merrigan at Northrop and Johnson has signed the central agency for sale of Valdettaro’s 35.1m sailing yacht Titan XIV and call his office to find out more, so here’s the story: She was built in 1994 and underwent a significant refit in 1998, going on to cruise the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
In 2004 she was purchased by her current owner and a further refit was undertaken, including a new carbon fibre mast, new sails, and an interior refit, all to the highest standards. She’s now one of the largest and most comfortable cruising yachts in her class and this, combined with her fine condition and excellent charter record, should make someone a fine investment. Titan XIV can accommodate 10 guests in a full beam master suite plus four twin staterooms that can be converted into king-size beds. Maintained to Lloyds A1 class, she’s asking $4.95 million.
