YACHT LISTING SEARCH

On an otherwise quiet day for news, I call Brian Hovey of Chuck Hovey Yachts to congratulate him on the sale of his joint listing – with Wes Sanford at Northrop and Johnson – of Delta Marine’s 37.8m motor yacht Seven C’s and Brian confirms that Gregg Child at N&J acted for the buyer.

Launched as Scott Free in 1997, this superyacht had an extensive refit in 2007 with rebuilt engines and communications upgrades and, says Brian, “The owner made a great job of an interior refit prior to putting her on the market at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.” Brian goes on to say that the asking price was $9.995 million and the sale closed just today which would make her the first sale of 2010. Unless you know differently, in which case please tell me.
