Coralyn Tracey, General Secretary at MYBA, asks me to broadcast the fact that there are still five boats available for five teams at the forthcoming Superyacht Brokers Regatta to be held in Monaco on September 17th-19th.
We carried full details of the regatta on August 3rd, but just to recap, all the boats are J24s and each carries five crew members with a minimum of two brokers from the same company and only one professional sailor is allowed – but not at the helm.
The entry fee is €3,000 with a €800 refundable deposit and the following companies have confirmed their presence: Ocean Independence, CNI, Edmiston, Yachting Partners, YCO, Fraser Yachts, Peter Insull, Bernard Gallay, Hill Robinson, and Sturge/Royal Oceanographic. With a veritable Who ‘s Who of leading brokers participating, this should be a real fun event offering plenty of opportunities for serious networking.
