Earlier this month the Overmarine facility in Viareggio took delivery of the 45.5m hull #1 in the new Mangusta 148' motor yacht series.

Called Oceano, she represents the first trideck displacement superyacht from the Italian yard and has been designed by Stefano Righini with naval architecture by Overmarine's in-house team. Powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M53R diesel engines, the top speed is expected to be 15 knots with a cruising speed of 12 knots.

The layout of Oceano is designed to accommodate 12 guests in five staterooms plus two Pullman berths and the final choice of interior decor is the decision of the owner, although Overmarine will happily provide all its own expertise in this area.
