Today, Nautor’s Swan announces a busy year for 2012, with build slots now almost fully booked for the coming year.
In September, when I visited the Finnish yard’s stand at the Monaco Yacht Show, they reported the beginning of the construction of the new version of the successful Swan 100S. Now Nautor’s Swan reports a second order for this new 30 metre sailing yacht designed by Frers Design. The first one is well under way with a delivery scheduled for the Summer of 2013.
Enrico Chieffi, Managing Director of Nautor’s Swan, said “The build slots for 2012 are now almost fully booked which in today’s market is a promising start for the New Year. The new Swan 100S moving from plans and design to a reality under construction with two orders has been an exciting process to lead.”
Also under construction, and scheduled for 2012, are a Swan 90, a Swan 82 and a Swan 80. And to complete the good news, two other Maxi yachts will be under refit in 2012: a Swan 90 and a Swan 82.
