Moonraker

A call to Simon Turner at Northrop & Johnson Spain brings news that his joint central listing with Berthon International, the 23.6m sailing yacht Moonraker, was sold yesterday with the buyer represented by Dolphin Yachts.

Moonraker was custom built in New Zealand to Lloyd’s class in 2000 for unlimited worldwide cruising. The builder Kelly Archer was chosen for his international reputation for high quality yachts, and because of his policy of building only one yacht at a time, providing total focus on one project. Construction is in aluminium (welded marine grade), combining light weight and great strength. She accommodates six guests and her 250hp John Deere engine gives a range of 3,000 nautical miles.
