Another giant yacht transfered at Lürssen yard in Rendsburg

While Lürssen is announcing the imminent delivery of Quattroelle, another large project was moved this morning at the Lürssen yard of Rendsburg.

Supposed to be named Global, this project (like all the others of this German yard) is surrounded by secrecy, and few details are known for the moment. With an approximate length of 93 metres (including spars), Global was transferred into her fitting out shed. She has an exterior design by Espen Øino, and an interior by Reymond Langton.

Moran Yacht & Ship told us: 'Global is our latest project. She will be 93 metres and the technical specifications, as well as the complete construction, were overseen by the Moran Yacht & Ship new construction team in conjunction with the Captain and engineers.'

Note the Stars and Stripes flag on her bow this morning, giving us a possible clue on the owner nationality.

Knowing the efficiency of Lürssen, we can expect to see Global again early 2014, but before this, the German yard will deliver the projects Niki and Azzam.
