Our editor Tim Thomas visited Rossi Navi earlier this week. He discovered their latest motor yacht, Vellmari, a few days before her launch next Monday.
We already gave you a preview of Vellmari (hull FR026) when she was transferred to Viareggio in March 2012. Previously known as project Ketos, this sleek 47.5m motor yacht is designed by Enrico Gobbi at Team 4 Design.
This trideck offers large interior volumes. She accommodates eight guests in four cabins. The full-beam master suite is on the main deck with two metre high windows. A full-beam VIP, a double and a twin cabin are on the lower deck.
Entirely built in aluminium, this semi-displacement motor yacht is powered by twin 1,940kW MTU engines giving a top speed of 17.5 knots, a cruising speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 2,500 nautical miles at 10.5 knots.
