The new Princess 88 motor yacht

Princess has added an 88 model to the flybridge range featuring an all-new infused long range hull.

David King, Chairman and co-founder of Princess Yachts International comments: 'We have further developed our resin infusion technology, which allows the yacht’s hull construction to have a very high strength to weight ratio. On the 88 Motor Yacht this is further extended to the deck, coachroof and floor structures.

'In addition the integrated hull stiffening gives us greater interior volumes. This allows us to design a hull that retains all the sea keeping qualities for which our motor yachts are renowned and also gives significantly increased fuel efficiency across a wide range of cruising speeds while still retaining the ability to achieve high maximum speeds as required.'

The layout of the exterior spaces offers flexibility for enjoying life on deck and on the main deck, a powered balcony can be specified which folds neatly from the starboard side deck, connecting the saloon with a secluded anchorage through sliding glass doors.

Below decks, owners can specify four or five en-suite cabins. A beautifully appointed forward VIP stateroom, starboard double and twin port cabin are accompanied by either a full beam owner's stateroom or two further en-suite double cabins amidships.

The 88 Motor Yacht is scheduled to make her international debut at the 2013 Southampton Boat Show.
