Registration open for Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous

Following the tremendous success of the 2013 event, superyacht owners from around the world are marking their calendars with the fourth annual Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous, taking place 19 to 22 March, 2014. The event is organised by Boat International Media and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS), bringing together sail and motor yachts during a four-day event for owners, their families and friends in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands.

The British Virgin Islands provide an idyllic setting and perfect sailing conditions for superyacht sailing competition, and the event has quickly become established as a highlight of the Caribbean season. The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda Virgin Gorda (YCCS Virgin Gorda) will once again play host to some of the largest, fastest and loveliest yachts on the water for four days of expertly organised racing and fabulous parties, including the Beach Party Finale at the beautiful Oil Nut Bay Beach Club.

Registered yachts include 40m Wally Angel’s Share, 37m Bliss by Yachting Developments, Vitters’ 33m Inouï, 37.5m Moonbird from Fitzroy Yachts, the 25m Selene by Nautor Swan and 34m Nilaya from Baltic Yachts. Attending motor yachts include the 26m Sally Slade by Princess Yachts and Westport’s 39.6m Resolute.

We experienced incredibly high demand for berths in 2013, with the YCCS marina at full capacity for the duration of the event, and strongly encourage early registration to secure a place in the fleet. The event welcomes sailing and motor yachts with a LOA over 80 feet (24.4m). To register and for further information, please visit loropianasuperyachtregattaandrendezvous.com.
