British superyacht builder Oyster Yachts has announced that it will be debuting its new Oyster 825 sailing superyacht for the first time at the Düsseldorf boat show this January.
The sleek Oyster 825 will be the largest sailing yacht on display at boot Düsseldorf. She features hull lines by UK-based designer Rob Humphreys and styling and engineering developed by the Oyster Design Team. An evolution of the popular Oyster 82, the new 825 has 15 per cent more internal volume than her predecessor. She accommodates owner and guests in three suites aft, and up to four crew members are accommodated in a separate area forward of the central elevated main saloon.
The Oyster 825 features a twin-rudder configuration and options include a shallow-draught, all-external swing keel and a carbon rig. She is laid out with a spacious and ergonomically designed cockpit for easy handling, and she features Oyster's trademark pushpit seats.
Oyster's new 825 model is already off to a successful start; three hulls were sold before hull No. 1 launched in 2013. Hull No. 1 is anticipated to deliver after her world debut in Düsseldorf, and hull No. 2 and 3 are scheduled to launch in 2014.
