The construction of Columbus Classic 68m (hull C04) is proceeding at the Palumbo Shipyard in Italy and is on schedule for delivery in 2016.

The new Columbus yacht, currently known as hull number C04, is the third of the custom Classic collection. Built in steel and aluminium, she has a naval architecture and an exterior styling by Sergio Cutolo’s studio Hydro Tec.

The 68m full displacement yacht features large volumes (1,850 GT) and extensive deck-spaces, the trademark of the Classic Collection. She will also feature a helipad, cinema and gym. An oversize Jacuzzi swimming pool is located on the sun-deck, which doubles as an observation deck, and there is a large spa on the bridge deck with direct access to the transom beach club.

The yacht features a private owner's deck plus five or six airy staterooms on deck accommodating 10 or 12 guests, and a guest elevator serves all decks. The yacht can accommodate three tenders, will be operated by 18 crew, and is compliant with the new LY3 and ILO regulations. She is being built to ABS Unrestricted Worldwide Operation, Maltese Cross A1, Commercial Service, E, Maltese Cross AMS, Maltese Cross ACCU, MCA and LY3 classifications.
