US yacht builder Christensen Shipyards has announced that it signed the contract for a 50m Custom Series superyacht during the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show.
The Vancouver, Washington-based builder finalised the sale in Miami on the new 164' Custom Series yacht, which will feature a new exterior styling with a fold-out balcony and a swim deck extension. Inside, she will accommodate owner and guests in six staterooms including an owner's suite, VIP cabin and four additional guest cabins.
This new order comes in addition to three contracts that Christensen currently has for three 50m 164' Custom Series superyachts, two 160' Custom Series, one 142' Custom Series, and two Ocean Alexander 120s. The newly ordered 50m Custom Series yacht is slated for August 2016, and the next Custom Series slot is available with a March 2017 delivery.
