Sunreef Yachts unveils 28m catamaran superyacht design

1 May 2014

Sunreef Yachts has unveiled the design for a 28m sailing catamaran with an exponential increase in volume compared to the yard’s previous designs.

The composite Sunreef 92 Double Deck design, prepared at the request of a client, offers nearly 430 square metres of living space, double that of the Sunreef 82 Double Deck design introduced in 2012. The 54 square metre, full-beam saloon increases the amount of indoor party and dining space. Outdoor spaces include a 65 square metre aft deck, with dining table and sunpad, plus a large sundeck above, featuring the main helm station, dining for 12, sun pads, a bar and a barbeque. A tender and jet ski are neatly stored in a locker under the main sun pad on the aft deck.

The master suite is forward of the saloon and features a ‘lounging corner’ with sofa and armchairs as well as an office space and en suite. Four guest cabins are located in the hulls, all with en suites and comprehensive audio visual systems. Sunreef estimates the potential build time for the Sunreef 92 Double Deck to be 10 months.
