Christian Bakewell at Merle & Associates gets in touch with news that he's closed on his listing for sale, the 34.1 metre raised pilothouse motor yacht Primadonna, with the buyer represented by Captain Jim Birschbach of Art Brooks Sea Company.

Primadonna was built by US superyacht yard Westport in composite to a design by Jack Sarin and delivered in 2005 as one of the yard's Westport 112 series. Always privately used, Primadonna comes complete with a sportfish package including a bait tank and outriggers.

An elegant interior by Pacific Custom Interiors makes much use of satin finished cherry wood paneling and she has a formal dining saloon seating eight. Extensive deck spaces also allow for plenty of al fresco relaxation, entertaining and dining areas.

Accommodation is for eight guests in four staterooms consisting of a master suite, two doubles and a twin cabin, all with full en suite bathroom facilities, and twin 2,000hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 24 knots. A combination of this high cruising speed and a shallow draft make her ideal for cruising the waters off Florida and The Bahamas, and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.

Primadonna was asking $6,250,000 and will be renamed My Way.
