YPI announces 20 per cent price cut on Dubois sailing superyacht Mariposa 3a

15 October 2014

Matt Albert at YPI Brokerage has given us the green light to announce a 20 per cent cut in the price of the gorgeous 28.9 metre sailing yacht Mariposa 3a.

'Mariposa 3a is now very realistically and competitively priced,' he says. 'Combining all the grace, style and romance of the great racing yachts of the 1920s and 1930s, she really needs to be seen.'

Indeed she does. Built at the Dutch Vitters yard in 1994, then refit in 2012, this sleek sloop harks back to the great J Class yachts of yesteryear with her beautiful lines, classic sheer and low deckhouse profile. Yet she marries vintage looks to a modern Dubois hull and keel design for an extremely fast and seaworthy vessel capable of worldwide cruising in any weather.

Decor below by Redman Whiteley Dixon is as elegant as her exterior. Finished in blonde teak and exquisitely finished throughout, she accommodates six guests in three cabins, including an owner's stateroom in the stern with a large queen-size bed, shower room, bidet and vanity, desk and good stowage, plus a double cabin and a twin, both en suite. There are quarters for three crew forwards.

The 2012 refit added a new MAN 256hp engine, plus new decks and new sails. See full details, specs and a gallery of luxury yacht Mariposa 3a for sale.

Lying in Ibiza, Mariposa 3a is now listed at an asking price of €2,750,000.
