The 24 metre expedition yacht Silvia M, listed for sale by Filippo Rossi at Fraser Yachts, has been sold with James Leishman at Nordhavn USA acting for the buyer.

Built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Ta Shing to RINA class, Silvia M was delivered in 2008 as hull number 12 in the yard's Nordhavn series of oceangoing trawler-style motor yachts. Her sturdy, businesslike exterior is belied by a luxurious interior with thick carpeting and rich mahogany paneling throughout.

Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins laid out as a full beam master suite on the main deck with a large double and a twin below. All cabins have en suite bathroom facilities and the en suite for the twin cabin also acts as a day head.

A 535hp MTU engine gives her a range of 4,500 nautical miles and is backed up by a 180hp Lugger diesel engine. Zero speed stabilisers are fitted.

Lying in Viareggio, Italy, Silvia M was asking €2.7 million.
