Significant news from Drettmann in Germany that they've closed on their listing for sale, a 24.43 metre Elegance 90 motor yacht in an in house deal.
The sale is significant in that it marks 356 superyacht sales so far this year as opposed to 355 in the whole of 2013. With several weeks of prime selling time before the end of this year, we should be looking forward to well over 400 sales in the market in 2014. This is proving the trend seen in our October 2014 Superyacht Market Report, which sales figures indicated a strong end of year.
Built in GRP by Taiwan's Horizon yard, the Elegance 90 was delivered in 2007 and accommodates eight guest in four staterooms, all with en suite bathrooms complete with under floor heating. The interior design in teak and cherry wood in the main saloon gives guests a warm, welcoming ambience and she comes complete with large sofas, a bar, a flat screen television and an entertainment system with surround sound.
Al fresco entertainment and dining are offered on an expansive flybridge complete with settee, table, whirlpool spa, wet bar, fridge, sink, icemaker and barbecue. Twin 2,000hp MTU engines have only 570 hours and she cruises at 16 knots.
The Elegance 90 luxury yacht was asking €2,295,000.
