The 40.23 metre motor yacht Northern Lights has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale by Robert Lama at Miami International Yacht Sales.

Built in composite by US yard Westship to a design by Wesley Carr Design and naval architecture by Jack Sarin, Northern Lights was delivered in 2000 with a refit in 2013. The refit included full exterior paint, new interior décor and a major overhaul of her main engines & generators. Zero speed stabilizers were added during a 2009 refit.

An interior by Yacht Design Associates offers accommodation for 10 guests in up to five cabins consisting of a full beam master suite on the main deck with two doubles and a twin below plus a further double that can be converted into a fully equipped fitness suite. All cabins have entertainment centres including television screens and full en suite facilities plus access to the on demand Kaleidescape central movie and audio server.

Highlights of the main saloon include a marble bar, gracious sitting areas, a 42” television with entertainment centre, surround sound and broad windows that draw in the beauty of the outdoors. The open dining area accommodates 10 guests to savour fine cuisine at an expansive glass table. Large double doors open to the aft deck with full amenities for al fresco entertaining and dining. The sun deck of this yacht for sale provides open air dining for 12 at a large table and also features a full service bar, Jacuzzi tub and sun pads.

Twin MTU 16V 396TE engines give her a cruising speed of 16 knots and she is fitted with Trac ABT zero speed stabilisers.

Northern Lights is asking $8.9 million.
