Oceanco delivers hull Y710 Infinity

Oceanco has delivered its 89 metre superyacht Infinity, built under project code name Y710.

Hull No Y710 was launched by Oceanco in August 2014 in Alblasserdam, The Netherlands. Infinity is the Dutch builder's first delivery in 2015.

The steel-and-aluminium yacht features striking exterior lines from the famed yacht designer Espen Øino with interiors by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and David Kleinberg Design Associates.

Oceanco says Infinity is, "true to her name ... the possibilities for the yacht is endless." Infinity is designed to be a go-anywhere yacht, and powered by twin 4,828hp MTU engines, she reaches maximum speeds of 20 knots.

With an ample 14.2-metre beam, she accommodates her owners in a spacious master suite with a private deck and spa tub. Infinity also accommodates 10 guests in six suites, two of which are VIP cabins. Outdoor living areas abound and include a beach club on the lower aft deck and a relaxation area on the main deck that features a five-metre circular swimming pool surrounded by seating. This is adjacent to the indoor wellness area on the main deck. On the upper deck, there is an indoor/outdoor al fresco dining room and entertainment lounge, while the skylounge is a private space with an additional spa tub, bar and observation lounge.

Her captain and crew will celebrate her successful completion with Oceanco's team, marked by the traditional good luck bite of Dutch herring, before Infinity leaves the shipyard today. Oceanco has a further three yachts on the Global Order Book. This includes the much-anticipated 100-metre-plus sailing yacht Solar, sold by Moran in 2012, which features a DynaRig and exterior styling by Nuvolari Lenard and is set to launch in 2015. Also upcoming from Oceanco is the 110 metre steel-and-aluminium motor yacht project Jubilee, sold by Burgess and set to debut in 2016, and the 88.5 metre Oceanco Y715, due in 2017.

Of course, there is also the 85 metre sailing yacht that's being built in conjunction with Vitters, designed by Bill Tripp and due to launch in 2015, and the shipyard also has a couple of confidential projects under construction, but it is too early to say more. Stay tuned for an update in the future.
