Video: Steve Jobs' yacht Venus squeezes through Simpson Bay bridge

25 February 2015 • Written by Laura Nineham

Drone video footage shows 78.2m Feadship Venus - owned by the late CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs – squeezing through Simpson Bay bridge in Sint Maarten.

The video was taken by a drone, filming the scene from the air as the superyacht, engineered by De Voogt Naval Architects and styled by Philippe Starck, passes through the drawbridge.

The footage shows Venus in a number of angles, offering unseen perspectives of the yacht commissioned by the late Steve Jobs.

As the luxury yacht passes through, the drone flies behind Venus to film her aft and we see a classic yacht follow her out to sea.

As the video shows, Venus is an incredibly private yacht; despite the drone circling the superyacht, it’s almost impossible to see any details of the boat.
