Moonen motor yacht Far Niente sold

The 25.76 metre motor yacht Far Niente, listed for sale by Cornelius Gerling and Antonio Yturbe Redo at Edmiston & Company, has been sold with Lars Bjorklund at Ocean Independence introducing the buyer.

Far Niente was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Moonen to Lloyd's class with exterior styling by Rene Van Der Velden and launched in 2006. She has had the same owner since new and has never been chartered. A true ‘pocket superyacht’, Far Niente has interior styling by Art-Line incorporating an open-plan main saloon with free-standing furniture, a dining area, bar and full entertainment systems, while up top her flybridge is ideal for al fresco entertaining with a dining table, barbecue, wet bar, sunpads and a Bimini top providing welcome shelter from the sun.

Far Niente was asking €2.35 million

Accommodation is for eight guests in in four cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite and two twin cabins plus two Pullman berths for children, all with entertainment systems and full en-suite bathroom facilities.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3406E DI-TA engines, Far Niente has a top speed of 12 knots and an impressive range of 2,800 nautical miles when cruising at nine knots.

Lying in Hyeres, France, Far Niente was asking €2.35 million.
