42 metre Baglietto motor yacht Geosand sold

20 September 2018 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The 41.9 metre motor yacht Geosand, jointly listed for sale by Burgess and IYC, has been sold with the buyer represented by Michel Chryssicopoulos and Leo Jordil at IYC.

Built in aluminium to ABS class by Italian yard Baglietto to a design by Francesco Paszkowski, Geosand was delivered in 2011 and has always been used privately. Her silhouette is characterised by flowing lines that extend from the stern to the top of the superstructure. Up to 14 guests can be accommodated in six cabins. Located forward on the main deck, the full-beam master suite feels very spacious, and, with the double sea balconies to port and starboard opened, even more so. Below deck, the aft area accommodates five guest cabins which can be set up as doubles or twins, depending upon preferences — each with an LCD television screen, an en suite bathroom and extra Pullman berth.

Geosand was asking €11,500,000

The sundeck more than lives up to its name as it features a whirlpool spa for up to six people, two large L-shaped sofas, a bar, ice makers, fridge, four electric awnings and a dumb waiter providing easy service from the galley. In the main deck saloon, the dining area and lounge are separated. The convivial lounge offers many entertainment and leisure options thanks to a large pop-up LCD television screen mounted on the forward bulkhead and a built-in mini bar in the entrance area. There is also a generous skylounge with ample room for relaxation.

Twin 2,720hp MTU engines give her speeds of up to 20 knots and she is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers.

Geosand was asking €11,500,000.
