Leopard motor yacht Bluebird of Happiness sold

The 26.1 metre motor yacht Bluebird of Happiness, listed for sale by SuperyachtsMonaco, has been sold to a direct client.

Designed by Paolo Caliari, she was built in GRP by the Italian superyacht yard Arno to Bureau Veritas class and delivered in 2004 as hull No. 8 of the limited edition Leopard 26 Fly series from the yard. The yacht features a custom-built aft stairway access to the flybridge that is unique to Bluebird of Happiness and not found on any of the sister vessels in the series. She has been owned from new by the same family and has been fully and professionally crewed throughout her life.

The yacht sleeps eight guests in two double and two twin cabins, all with en suite facilities, plus a crew complement of three. The saloon and dining area is open plan and features warm high gloss wood paneling, large panoramic windows and a serene atmosphere.

Sliding glass and stainless steel doors in the saloon lead to a large shaded aft deck, with ample seating and al fresco dining options. Above the main deck, the massive flybridge is ideal for outdoor entertaining, featuring port and starboard guest seating, a complete wet bar with stools, cocktail tables, a Jazuzzi tub and chaise lounges. A fold down Bimini top allows for shade when required. while a planing hull and twin 2,000hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 20 knots, topping out at 29 knots.

MCA compliant, Bluebird of Happiness was asking €750,000, and her berth in Port Vauban, France, is now for sale asking €350,000.
