Winner of the 2015 New Zealand Millenium Cup in the Bay of Islands and the 2013 Perini Navu Cup, 49.8 metre Silencio is a top choice for a luxury holiday that incorporates a superyacht regatta.

Delivered in 2001 by Perini Navi and entirely refitted in 2012, she's also taken part in the St. Barths Bucket in 2013 and 2014. Aside from her racing triumphs, she boasts a luxurious deck space with a contemporary and shaded al fresco dining area, as well as plenty of sunbathing spots.

Delivered in 2005 by Holland Jachtbouw and refitted in 2015, she was triumphant in the 2012 St Barts Bucket Regatta. She can sleep up to eight guests in four cabins with a crew of six.

Her spacious deck has plenty of loungers on which guests can relax in the sun, as well as an al fresco dining space. Below deck, her split-level main saloon/dining room offers a contemporary and airy environment, perfect for cocktails when on a family cruise in the West Mediterranean.

Managed for charter by Ocean Independence, This Is Us has a weekly summer charter rate starting from €68,000 in the low season and €77,500 in the high season.

Firefly (35.2m)

Designed exclusively for racing,_ Firefly _was unveiled at the 2011 Superyacht Cup in Palma de Mallorca and she has been a popular regatta sailing yacht ever since. The 35.2 metre Claasen superyacht features a vibrant red spinnaker as well as sleek and minimalist design by Hoek Design Naval Architects, which offers a traditional feel and modern racing technology.

Currently managed for charter by Thompson, Westwood & White Yachts, her regatta rate starts from €75,000 and she’s available from May 30 to June 3 for the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta.

Meteor (51.5m)

Combining the classic look of a gaff-rigged schooner with every modern amenity, Meteor was built in 2007 by the legendary Royal Huisman yard. Her dark blue hull sets off acres of varnished mahogany and she is a proven winner, taking the overall trophy for the 2009 St. Barths Bucket. The gorgeous interior has staterooms for six guests and her deck is perfect for après-race parties.

Leopard 3 (30m)

Capable of speeds up to 40 knots Leopard 3is one of the world’s fastest superyachts and is one of the best luxury yachts for charter in the Caribbean. During races, she carries a crew of 25 to handle sails on the 47 metre mast. Race charterers are provided with a full crew kit of clothing and gear. One of the newest Perini Navis, State of Grace is sloop rigged and can accommodate nine guests in four cabins. The sumptuous interior is ready for dinner and cocktail parties, and the yacht has a dedicated gym to work off the calories from the gourmet chef’s cuisine. After the regatta, the yacht features a teak “beach” extending from the stern for watersports.
