Greece needs to raise €50 billion through the sale of public assets in order to be able to reach the conditions of its bailout agreement.

While this is a worrying time for the country, it means that an interesting portfolio of assets will soon be auctioned off on behalf of the Greek government. If you love visiting Greece on a luxury yacht charter or on a private cruise, you may want to consider investing in the country.

Here are six of the most exciting public assets that are currently up for grabs.

One of the best beaches in Rhodes

If you are looking for a beachfront location then the two neighbouring beachfront land plots in Afantou, on the popular superyacht destination of Rhodes, could be for you. The property includes 7km of beach and an 18-hole golf course designed by Donald Harradine, which has been in operation since 1973.
