The 10th edition of the World Superyacht Awards is only a matter of weeks away and anticipation is building for the announcement of the 2015 winners at Amsterdam’s Westergasfabriek on 9th May. Boat International Media are pleased to present a full weekend programme of shipyard tours and fun activities in collaboration with an elite selection of event partners and sponsors. Dutch family-owned jeweller Gassan Diamonds will add some sparkle to the programme, displaying some of their finest jewellery and watches throughout the event. Guests of the Finalists Party on Friday 8th May at West-Indisch Huis will be offered a glass of champagne on arrival where it is not only the champagne that sparkles! In each glass will be a little shiny stone – one or more of which will be a real, brilliant cut diamond. Gassan diamond experts will check each glass to find out which lucky guest has won this little treasure!
Gassan Diamonds are also delighted to host guests of the World Superyacht Awards for tours of their historic diamond factory. After a champagne reception, guests will witness expert craftsmen at work in a private polishing area allowing the opportunity to discover the traditions of diamond cutting, the history of Gassan Diamonds and how a rough diamond is cut and polished into a dazzling brilliant.
Guests will visit the Choices by DL flagship store and VIP showroom, with the opportunity to try on pieces from an extensive watch and jewellery collection.
