Al Mirqab and P2 scoop top prizes at the World Superyacht Awards

The movers and shakers of the superyacht industry gathered together in London’s historic Guildhall on Saturday evening to attend the fourth annual World Superyacht Awards ceremony, hosted by Kate Silverton. In the motor yacht categories, Kusch Yachts’ 133m Al Mirqab *won the coveted Motor Yacht of the Year, as well as an award for the interior design by Andrew Winch, and a Judges' Commendation for the exterior styling by Tim Heywood – the exterior styling award itself went to Francesco Paszkowski for *Onyx, built by Sanlorenzo.

In the sailing yacht categories, Perini Navi's P2 won the Sailing Yacht of the Year Award, which also won Briand Yacht Design best exterior design with Rémi Tessier winning best interior design for Salute, also by Perini Navi.
