The 2017 World Superyacht Awards Cultural Programme

Boat International Media are delighted to announce the 2017 Cultural Programme. Held on Saturday 13th May from 10:00 - 13:00, the Cultural Programme is available to guests of the World Superyacht Awards.

To help you navigate your way through the glorious city of Florence, our tours have been thoughtfully curated with the help of our local event partners to ensure a special experience. Join us to explore these unique opportunities and meet some of Florence’s most prominent families and businesses along the way.

We will host three tours which will include a combination of the below activities, bookings will need to be made in advance as we have limited capacity.

Tour 1 – Florentine discovery

Stefano Ricci Flagship Store | Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella | Officine Panerai Boutique

Start with a private visit with members of the Ricci family at their flagship store, Stefano Ricci, in the heart of Florence. Famous for their iconic menswear, the Ricci’s also boast numerous yacht interiors in their portfolio; see how their distinctive approach, exceptional detailing and use of rare and precious natural materials have made them the go-to brand of the yachting cognoscenti. Next, explore one of the oldest pharmacies in the world. Using medicinal herbs grown in the monastic gardens to make medications, balms and pomades, the Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is a rare beauty. Enjoy a guided tour around its spectacular shop and hear about the 400-year history and tradition. Conclude with refreshments at the Officine Panerai Boutique, on the steps of the Duomo. Tour 2 – Celebration of craftmanship
