For music-loving yacht owners there is no shortage of festivals to get to by superyacht. However, if you’re looking for a really special experience this summer, then there’s really only one option – the world’s first $1 million festival ticket.

Forget Glastonbury and Coachella, 2016’s most luxurious festival experience is at Secret Solstice. Never heard of it? This Icelandic festival is now in its third year and consistently billed as the most unique festival on earth thanks to its gigs held inside a volcano, never-setting sun, geothermal pool parties and club nights on glaciers.

This year’s event is themed around Viking mythology and boasts a stellar line-up including Radiohead, Of Monsters and Men and Deftones, as well as a Midnight Sun boat party in the Atlantic and gourmet Icelandic food all right in the centre of Reykjavik.

Of course, if you opt for the $1 million package you get much more on top. Valid for up to six people, your trip will start with flights on one of the best private jets from anywhere in the world before your private security team escort you via your own personal luxury cars to a beautiful villa in Reykjavik which is yours for seven nights during the festival period.

The ticket includes access to the sold out party inside a glacier

You will also be privy to a host of benefits on the festival site, including access to the Artists bar created solely for main stage acts and super-VIPs, as well as admittance to off-limits areas, private viewing spaces for all major acts and private Icelandic food experiences.

The ticket includes access to the sold out volcano, glacier and Secret Lagoon parties including helicopter transfers from Reykjavik, as well as private use of the Blue Lagoon geothermal pool for one evening, access to the Midnight Sun boat party, two private concerts at your villa and in a lava field by a prominent Icelandic artist and dinner cooked by a private chef at your villa on a night of your choosing.

Ticketholders will also be offered a range of experiences outside the festival, including whale and dolphin watching, plane tours over Iceland’s glaciers, a midnight glacier walk, a nature helicopter tour with a champagne lunch at a geothermal hotspot and engraved commemorative tickets crafted from Icelandic lava rock, as well as 24/7 access to a personal assistant.
