Actress Juliette Lewis posed for pictures while enjoying time on board 138 metre Lurssen superyacht Rising Sun at this year's film festival. Lewis is staying on the yacht as a guest of fellow actor and well-known superyacht enthusiast Leonardo DiCaprio. She also gave fans a peek inside the boat, sharing a video of the yacht's sundeck and gym on her Instagram page.
British actor Colin Firth and wife Livia Giuggioli chose the 36 metre Sunliner X superyacht as the ideal place to celebrate the unveiling of Giuggioli's new film The True Cost. Giuggioli acted as executive producer for the documentary and was joined on the yacht by director Andrew Morgan and fellow producer Michael Ross (far right).
Salma Hayek and her husband, Kering boss Francois-Henri Pinault, also spent time on the Sunliner X superyacht during the Cannes Film Festival. Hayek is promoting her new film Tale of Tales and has been a firm fixture on the Cannes red carpet this year, proving an excellent advertisement for her husband's fashion brands, including Alexander McQueen and Gucci.
American actress Uma Thurman and her boyfriend, hotelier Andre Balazs, attended a party on the 55.99 metre Feadship Rio Rita on the second night of the Cannes Film Festival.
Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai took to a yacht in the Cannes harbour for a photocall to promote her new film Jazbaa. Her first on-screen appearance in five years, the actress is using this year's film festival to stage a come-back, racking up dozens of red carpet appearances along with a stint as a L'Oreal ambassador alongside Eva Longoria, Karlie Kloss and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
Microsoft founder Paul Allen held his annual Cannes party on board his Lurssen superyacht Octopus on the sixth day of the film festival. At 126.19 metres the yacht is too large to berth in Cannes harbour forcing the 200 guests to arrive by tender. This year's party took a Bollywood theme complete with decorative elephants, purple lighting and a set by Allen's band.
Guests at Allen's star-studded bash included models Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls, who are pictured above with writer and socialite Derek Blasberg. Many were treated to a tour of Octopus, which boasts two helipads, a submarine and 40 guest cabins.
