Some of the most famous names in yachting and luxury came together in Milan this week (May 16-22) to celebrate the second MonteNapoleone Yacht Club & Unique. Organised by the Associazione MonteNapoleone, with support from Fraser Yachts and Valverde, the event paired fashion and jewellery powerhouses with superyacht builders and designers to celebrate the unique luxury of the yachting lifestyle.

Festivities kicked off with an elegant gala hosted by association president Guglielmo Miani at the Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda with guests treated to a beautiful candlelit dinner by Davide Oldani.

The main event, however, came on day two when Milan’s famous Via Monte Napoleone (pictured) closed to host a glittering street-wide cocktail party. Guests strolled from store to store to find sparkling diamonds and fine clothing side by side with models of some of the world’s largest superyachts.

The brand paired up with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda to celebrate the drama and magic of sailing superyachts with stunning Carlo Borlenghi images from the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta adorning the boutique walls.

Models of Fincantieri superyachts Ottantcinque and Ocean Victory take pride of place at Louis Vuitton. The Italian builder also presented a video showcasing its Skybreak, Vanitas and Sundance projects with Marco Francesco Mazzu, head of origination strategies and market development at Fincantieri, commenting, "Louis Vuitton is the perfect match. We are number one in yachting and LVMH is number one is fashion — the best meets the best."

Marina Moretto and Paolo Vitelli are pictured with a model of Benetti's  _11.11 _superyacht at the Bulgari boutique on Via Monte Napoleone. 11.11 was the winner of the Displacement Yachts 500GT to 1,299GT category at the World Superyacht Awards 2016 and Benetti proudly displayed its Neptune trophy during the cocktail party.
