AURELIA

Aurelia: yacht for charter with Ocean Independence

From Heesen's 37 series, the motor yacht Aurelia was the winner of the category for Raised pilothouse semi displacement or planing motor yachts.

While the standard layout for Heesen's 37 series is a five cabin configuration, the owner of Aurelia wanted more comfort for guests and more space for the crew, so designated a guest cabin for the captain. The result is a more realistic six crew for eight guests and everyone benefits from extra living space, plus a welcome and essential increase in laundry facilities. A further aid to comfort, especially when at anchor, is a pair of gyro stabilisers although these are also incredibly efficient under all conditions.

Aurelia is available for charter with Ocean Independence at weekly rates of 105,000 in low season and 120,000 in high season.

With excellent volume and spacious living areas inside and out, Helix offers light-filled accommodation for 10 guests all on the main deck plus a convertible office for two on the bridge deck and would be ideally suited to charter operations. SATORI

Satori yacht photo by Jeff Brown/Superyacht Media

Judged the best Three Deck Semi Displacement/Planing Motor Yacht in her class, Satori was delivered in 2011.

The 49.8m yacht is part of the Heesen family with sporty lines that combine the exuberance of the 37 Metre Series with the decorum that one might expect from a larger yacht. Frank Laupman, from Omega Architects, was responsible for this, and his triumph was in combining these good looks with a range of spacious deck areas. He was helped in this endeavour by the highly practical requirement to keep the yacht's tonnage beneath 500GT.

In principle, the layout of the interior by Rémi Tessier is conventional, with saloons at the aft of the main and bridge decks, and the master cabin set forward of a lobby and galley that occupy the centre of the main deck. On the lower deck is a stern garage that connects to the engine room, four guest cabins and crew quarters in the bow.

The four guest cabins two large full beam VIP cabins and two smaller twins of equal luxury open off a lower deck lobby lit with a luminous slab of backlit onyx.

Satori is listed for sale by Fraser Yachts asking $44 million.
