60m CMN superyacht Cloud 9 is sold

We understand that the 60m CMN-built superyacht  _Cloud 9 _has been sold, with  Burgess representing both the buyer and seller. This luxury yacht remains available for charter with Burgess after the sale.

Cloud 9 is MCA compliant, and was built to Bureau Veritas classification in 2009 with exterior and interior styling from Andrew Winch Designs.

Her elegant and well-conceived interior accommodates up to 14 guests in seven cabins. A vast, open-plan owner’s suite is located on the main deck forward, which, in addition to the bedroom, consists of an observation lounge forward, owner’s office, his-and-hers bathrooms and a separate dressing room. The other guest cabins include an impressive VIP suite on the bridge deck and four doubles on the lower deck, two of which can be converted into twins. A seventh cabin can be created out of the bridge deck gymnasium which has two Pullman berths and en suite bathroom.

Cloud 9 comes equipped with a Kaleidescape entertainment system providing video and music on demand, and has satellite television and iPod stations throughout.

The yacht can accommodate up to 16 crew members in double captain and engineer cabins and six twin crew cabins.

Over 500m² of living areas are laid out over five decks, which are decorated in a contemporary, nautical style. The upper saloon doubles as a cinema, opening directly onto an inside/outside dining room, which can comfortably seat up to 14 guests. Outdoor deck space includes a 65m² sundeck with spa pool, sun pads, wet bar, BBQ and shaded dining area.

Twin Caterpillar 3516B engines, each producing 2,200hp, power the yacht to a top speed of 17 knots and cruising speed of 14 knots. At a more economical 12 knots she has a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

Cloud 9 has superb commercial potential for a new owner having earned a reputation as an excellent charter yacht.

Cloud 9 was asking €34.9 million.
