by Malcolm Maclean
The 54.7 metre motor yacht Sequel P, jointly listed for sale by Burgess and IYC, has had a $6,000,000 price cut.
Built in steel and aluminium by Turkish yard Proteksan Turquoise to a design by Dubois Naval Architects, Sequel P was delivered in 2009 and completed an extensive refit in 2015. An interior in muted sycamore wood by H2 Yacht Design hosts 12 guests in six cabins consisting of a main deck full beam master suite, a VIP suite that converts to a massage therapy room, two doubles and two twins, all with entertainment systems and en suite bathroom facilities.
A large saloon contains everything guests could require for relaxation and entertainment including a lounge area with comfortable seating, entertainment centre and a full bar, while forward is a formal dining area with seating for 12 guests. Outside spaces are generous and include an aft deck area with a semi circular sofa and all the facilities for al fresco dining while the vast sun deck offers a Jacuzzi, barbecue and sunbathing areas with sun pads and loungers.
Other features of this yacht for sale include a fully equipped gymnasium and she is an accredited RYA water sports training centre. ABS classed and MCA compliant, she has proved to be a very popular charter yacht and is offered for sale complete with her water toys, including two tenders, jet skis, kayaks and a range of towables.
Twin 1,500hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots and she is fitted with those all-important zero speed stabilisers.
Sequel P is now asking $19,900,000 down from $25,950,000.
