Dean Young at HMY tells me he's closed on the sale of the 26.2m motor yacht Xanadau R with Mack Carroll at Atlantic Yacht & Ship acting for the buyer.
Built by Horizon Yachts, Xanadu R was launched in 2007 and features a tasteful interior in African cherry wood with camphor burl inlays. Features include a comfortable aft deck with al fresco seating for eight guests, a bar and steps leading up to the skylounge. The skylounge is another attractive area for al fresco entertaining, with a helm station, 360 degree visibility, a raised settee, pop up television, bar, fridge and ice maker.
Accommodation is for eight guests in four staterooms comprising a master suite, VIP stateroom and two twin cabins. All staterooms have en suite bathroom facilities. Transferable Caterpillar Five Year Gold warranties on her twin 1,550hp engines were purchased in Spring 2012.
Xanadu R was asking $2.6 million.
