by Malcolm MacLean
The 29.24m motor yacht C1, listed for sale by Stuart Larsen and Trevor Carroll at Fraser Yachts, has been sold with Brett Aggen at Emerald Pacific in Seattle introducing the buyer.
An explorer yacht, C1 was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Bloemsma Van Breemen to a design by Vripack and delivered in 2003. In 2009/2010 her owner sent her to US yard Delta Marine for a massive refit including new engines, generators and inverter system, a bulbous bow extension and a rebuild or replacement of nearly every system aboard.
C1 accommodates up to eight guests in a full-beam master suite, double and twin cabin plus two Pullman berths, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities.
The saloon has comfortable sofas arranged in a U-shape facing an entertainment centre including a 50-inch Samsung television screen and a Sonos stereo surround sound system.
The open aft deck has a dining table and chairs aft, a control station adjacent and a bar forward to port. Access to the swimming platform is via double staircases.
On the flybridge, there is a control station situated on the centerline, a bar on the port side and a large U-shaped settee along with easy chairs and a dining table to starboard. Down three steps is the boat deck area which also has a shaded dining table arrangement and access to the main deck via a shallow staircase. There is a large Jacuzzi on the centerline further aft
Twin 425hp MTU diesel engines engines give her a range of 5,000 nautical miles and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, C1 was asking $5,950,000.
