Boat International Media has signed an exclusive media partnership with Embraer Executive Jets. The agreement makes Embraer the exclusive fixed-wing aircraft partner in Boat International Media’s publications and digital outlets and sponsor of key BIM events for 2014.
The announcement was made during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show – the world’s largest in-water show– and on the heels of the NBAA show in Las Vegas, where Embraer showcased its new Lineage 1000E aircraft, its largest executive jet to date.
Embraer’s participation reflects the nature of the global superyacht market, according to media company CEO Tony Harris. 'Our reach of the global community of UHNWI yacht owners through our print brands our websites and our events is unrivalled. With the 4,600nm range of the new Linage 1000E, I think it’s safe to say we can reach all of our constituents with Embraer’s Executive Jets. We look forward to working with Embraer and connecting them with the thousands of potential customers that our brands touch every week.'
Embraer was founded in 1969 in Brazil – where the newest BIM magazine is published. Now the world’s third-largest aircraft manufacturer with more than 5,000 aircraft in 80 countries on all continents, Embraer began exploring the executive jet market in 2000 and in 2011 opened an assembly and customer center for executive jets in Melbourne, Florida.
'We believe that our customers share lifestyles, tastes, and destinations that lead them on exquisite journeys,' said Jay Beever, Vice President Interior Design and Marketing, Embraer Executive Jets. 'We feel that we have much to learn and share with yacht owners who also value the personalization of their craft, and of their travel experience.'
