Breux Baycraft motor yacht Bayou sold again
by Malcolm Maclean
The 37.7 metre motor yacht Bayou has been sold in-house at Denison Yacht Sales, marking the second time they’ve sold this yacht in 60 days.
Bayou was built in aluminium by US yard Breux Baycraft with delivery in 1980 and originally had the same owner for nine years. An interior in rich gloss raised cherry wood panelling accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, double and a twin, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
In the saloon are teak wood thresholds and teak floors plus comfortable leather seating and an L-shaped wet bar, an ice maker and an entertainment centre including a large television screen and a server providing WiFi internet access throughout the yacht. Forward is a round high gloss varnished cherry wood dining table surrounded by eight cherry wood chairs with white fabric cushion seats. Overhead the dining table is an octagon recessed ceiling with cherry wood moulding and fine woodwork with inlaid mirrored panels.
Up on the flybridge, the helm is situated on the centreline, while aft of the helm station console is a wet bar with a stainless steel sink, ice maker and refrigerator box. Further aft and to starboard is a three burner propane gas grill. Across from the grill on the port side is a high gloss table for 10 mounted on double aluminium pedestals and blue fabric cushions on the seating. No fewer than four 650hp John Deere diesel engines power her to a cruising speed of 14 knots and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
Bayou was asking $1,550,000.
