The 30 metre motor yacht Golden Eagle, listed for sale by Tom Allen at Fraser in Seattle, has been sold in house.
Built in aluminium by US yard Broward Marine, Golden Eagle was delivered in 1989 with many upgrades and refits since. An interior panelled in teak accommodates six guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite amidships, a double and a twin, all with entertainment centres, Sony television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. There is also accommodation for four crew in three cabins.
She features a full width saloon fitted with freestanding furniture, coffee tables and a bar. Forward is the trademark Broward country kitchen complete with marble counter tops and an L-shaped dining area, a favoured spot to enjoy a casual snack. There is also a large, open aft deck with comfortable furniture and shaded by a varnished teak roof leading down to a swim platform, making this area ideal for lounging, dining or indulging in water sports.
Forward, at the centre of the enclosed flybridge console is the upper helm with an array of electronics. There are two teak and white cushioned custom helm chairs, looking forward over the curved, aluminium framed plexiglass windscreen. There is also ample room for seating and dining facilities while aft there is storage for the tenders and other outdoor toys. Twin 1,050hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising range of 2,000 nautical miles.
Golden Eagle was asking $1,000,000.
