Lara

Now here’s an offer that must be a first in brokerage history, from Kevin Merrigan of Northrop and Johnson. The owner of Delta Marine’s 38m Lara has reduced her price to $7.75 million and will throw in Jo–Jo, an 18.2m Tempest motor yacht for free. Lara is a proven round-the-world expedition yacht which, unfortunately, sank back in the early 90s. Daniel Stabbart says, “We at Stabbart Yacht & Ship purchased the hull and refitted her from the ground up in our Seattle shipyard. Absolutely every aspect of the yacht had to be ripped out and replaced. She operated in our charter fleet before being sold to the Firestone family.” So she’s now as good as new. Jo-Jo is a comfortable express cruiser, ideal for quick trips and fun. According to Kevin, “The owners are committed to selling these two yachts as quickly as possible and feel that this is an innovative way to find both yachts new homes.”
