CIM sailing yacht Moonlight II sold

The 29.7 metre sailing yacht Moonlight II, jointly listed for sale by Eric Trupheme at Ocean Independence and De Valk, has been sold with De Valk introducing the buyer.

Built in GRP by the French yard CIM to a design by Sparkman & Stephens, Moonlight II was delivered in 1992 and features a spacious saloon with a large dining table for eight, a chart table and a bar with fridge. For those who prefer to eat al fresco, meals can be taken in the comfortable, shaded and sheltered cockpit with its impressively large table

MCA compliant, Moonlight II sleeps eight guests in four equally sized double-berth cabins that can be converted to twins, all with more than two metres of headroom and full en suite facilities.

On deck, there is a large covered seating area next to the helm station with seating for 10. Under power, a 320hp Caterpillar engine gives her a cruising speed of nine knots and a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 8.5 knots

Lying in Antibes, France, Moonlight II was asking €645,000.
