Currently showing a clean pair of heels to the competitors at the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, the 35.2m super-fast sailing yacht Firefly is now listed for sale by Derk Jan Rolff at Holland Yacht Partners and David Legrand at Fraser Yachts.
Designed by Andre Hoek Design, she was delivered by Dutch sailing yacht specialists Claasen Jachtbouw in 2011. Her layout is optimized for racing, with a large open cockpit for crew during races, and a minimalist interior accommodating 12 people with bunks, shower, toilet, galley, and nav table.
Two Steyr engines drive the propeller, generators and the hydraulic pump for all sailing systems. Also, the five tonnes of water ballast can be transferred from one side to the other within two minutes. Already a seasoned performer at the world's premier regattas, her interior could be transformed into a more comfortable cruiser/racer suitable for family use, says Derk Jan Rolff.
Firefly is asking €3,850,000 with VAT paid.
