Xanadu
A call to Bob O'Brien at Camper & Nicholsons in Palm Beach brings news of the sale of his central listing, the 26.2m motor yacht Xanadu, with Michael Mahan and Simon Gibson at International Yacht Collection acting for the buyer.
Built by Horizon Yachts in 2006, this superyacht sleeps eight guests in a master suite plus a VIP stateroom and two twin cabins. Twin 1550hp engines give Xanadu a cruising speed of 19 knots and, comments Bob, she's been on the market only since mid-July this year which augurs well for the industry. Her asking price was $3.55 million.
