Currency switch and price cut on superyacht Big Fish at Y.CO

The move to price superyachts in dollars rather than Euros continues its inexorable trend as I'm told that the 45m motor yacht Big Fish is now priced in dollars, meaning an effective price reduction.

Delivered in 2010 by McMullen & Wing to a design by Gregory C. Marshall. Big Fish was conceived as a long-range expedition yacht with every modern amenity. Her top deck sports a large spa pool, sun pads and and a permanent bimini top giving shade to 10 guests dining, with a bar and barbecue close at hand.

Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins including a master suite on the bridge deck. The interiors of Big Fish feature a light and neutral decor with full height windows and, uniquely, she has the world’s first decks in epoxied granite rather than teak.

The winner of several awards, including a Showboats Design Award for Best Naval Architecture in 2011, Big Fish is now down from €26.5 million to $29 million.
