Richard Earp at Fraser Yachts sends word that he's listed the 55.17m motor yacht Southern Cross III for sale.

Southern Cross III was built by Japan's Nishi Zosen yard in 1986 to a design by Sterling Yacht and Jon Bannenberg and instantly became one of the best known and easily recognised superyachts in the world. Refitted in 2008, she's ABS classed and MCA compliant and her interior, designed to impress, has a grandeur that stuns newcomers. Accommodating up to 15 guests in a master, four spacious double suites and two additional guest cabins, her two MTU 4,600hp turbocharged diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 18 knots. Complete with helipad, Southern Cross III is asking €14.2 million.
