Superyacht Sensation sold

The 49.54 metre tri-deck motor yacht Sensation, listed for sale by Jan-Jaap Minnema at Fraser Yachts, has been sold with Bush & Noble introducing the buyer.

Built in aluminium by New Zealand superyacht yard Sensation Yachts to ABS class, Sensation was delivered in 2007 with a refit as recently as 2014. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five well appointed cabins. At the forward part of the main deck is the full width master suite including a study to starboard, his and hers walk in wardrobes and a his and hers marble lined bathroom with central Jacuzzi bath and shower room. On the lower deck are four generous en suite guest cabins. Each bathroom has a WC, shower and bath. The two aft cabins can be joined to create a VIP suite by opening a sliding partition.

The main deck saloon has a central wet bar situated near the entrance and three comfortable sofas plus two casual chairs are positioned so that the 43 inch plasma screen television at the forward end of the saloon can be viewed comfortably from all angles. Forward of the saloon is the dining area with a table comfortably seating 10 people.

The upper deck saloon has a circular dining table for 12 guests and there is a grand piano in this full width sun lounge. With a bar, two semicircular eight-seater sofas and casual chairs, this is the area for socialising and entertaining on a grand scale. Twin 3,000hp Caterpillar engines give her a range of 4,000 nautical miles and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.

Sensation was asking €9.9 million.
