Fitzroy sailing yacht Neptune sold

The 25.6 metre sailing yacht Neptune, listed for sale by Bernard Gallay at Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built by aluminium by New Zealand’s Fitzroy Yachts in 2004 to a design by Judel Vrolijk, she was delivered in 2004. Her bright, modern interior by Dick Young accommodates six guests in a master suite and two twin cabins. A further two twin cabins provide quarters for four crew.
Comfortable seating is provided in the saloon with comfortable seating on leather settees, a dining area and an entertainment centre including a large television screen and a Bose stereo surround sound system, Up a few steps is the deckhouse offering further seating, another dining area and a helm position.
The hull is quite high on the water which gives a feeling of safety while the cockpit has two steering stands and settees forward.
On the technical side, she has a Southern Spars carbon fibre mast and boom, Reckmann hydraulic furling systems while her deck gear consists of eight Harken hydraulic winches. She has a sail wardrobe new in 2011 and all navigation equipment is by Simrad
A 300hp Lugger engine provides a cruising speed of 15 knots.
Lying in San Remo, Italy, the asking price of Neptune was €1.75 million.
