Volador

As recently as November 19th I reported a price cut of €100,000 on Thierry Voisin at Thierry Voisin and Toby Walker at Camper & Nicholson's joint listing, the 25m sailing yacht Volador, and now Thierry tells me the owner wants to sell before the end of the year, authorising a further €50,000 reduction.

Built by Royal Huisman in 1982 and refitted in 2005, she’s a sistership to the world famous Flyer designed by German Frers and winner of the 1981/82 Whitbread Round the World Race, meaning that this superyacht has the highest possible pedigree for a yacht of her era.

In 2005, she underwent a complete technical and cosmetic refit, which included fitting a virtually all-new interior with five double guest cabins, each with en-suite bathroom. All electronic equipment was replaced and upgraded, deck hardware, safety equipment and sailing hydraulics were all replaced.

Fully MCA compliant, Volador is as well suited to the modern charter market as she is for private cruising. She is a true blue water thoroughbred, guaranteed to bring many miles of happy cruising to the sailing connoisseur. This latest reduction brings her price down to €700,000 and Thierry says if she doesn't sell at this price he might well buy her himself.
